Silicone Sponge

We extrude closed-cell silicone sponge cord in round and square sections, made to your diameter rather than pulled from stock. Sponge cord compresses easily for a light-force seal in lids, doors, hatches, and enclosure grooves, then recovers to fill gaps and uneven surfaces. Available in soft, medium, and firm densities, with platinum-cured, food-grade, and USP Class VI options, cut to length with no minimums on most sizes.

We die-cut silicone sponge gaskets and flat gaskets to your pattern from closed-cell sponge sheet. Soft sponge conforms to warped or low-tolerance flanges and seals against dust, moisture, light, and air at low closure force — where a solid gasket would need more compression than the joint allows. Supplied with or without pressure-sensitive adhesive backing, in custom thickness, density, and color to your drawing.

Beyond round cord, we extrude custom-shaped silicone sponge profiles — D-section, P-section, square, rectangular, U-channel, and bespoke cross-sections built to your print. Sponge D-seals and square profiles are common on cabinet doors, access panels, and weather seals that must take up a variable gap. Tooling is low-cost and most profiles run with no minimum order.

Closed-cell silicone sponge sheet is the starting stock for die-cut gaskets, pads, and insulation. We supply sponge sheet in a range of thicknesses and densities — plain or with adhesive backing — ready to cut to your gasket pattern or use as cushioning and thermal barrier. Food-grade and USP Class VI formulations are available where contact or regulatory requirements apply.

We produce silicone sponge seals and strips — extruded lengths and adhesive-backed strip — for compression sealing on enclosures, HVAC panels, lighting housings, and transit equipment. Sponge strip takes up tolerance and seals against weather, dust, and vibration while adding thermal and acoustic insulation. Available with pressure-sensitive adhesive, in custom widths, thicknesses, and densities, cut to length.

For low-closure-force sealing, we make silicone sponge O-rings and spliced sponge rings in custom diameters and cross-sections. Sponge O-rings seal against light, dust, and splash where a solid O-ring would over-stress a lightweight housing or lid. Molded or spliced to your size, in soft-to-firm densities with food-grade and USP Class VI options.
